The Institute for Pastoral Studies or TIPS is a vision project of the
Presbytery of New Covenant. TIPS is organized into four working academies:

Pastor Academy

Our mission:
TIPS equips leaders for the real work of ministry: assists leaders
to apply formal education and life experience to enhance day to day
ministry; supports leaders to sustain their call, commitment and energy
in a daily walk of faith; encourages leaders to further understand God’s
love and grace in ways that enable effective sharing.
Our priorities:
Foster understanding of ministry in a multicultural context;
Develop ecumenical relationships;
Provide intentional interactive learning situations;
Produce and provide resources.
How you can help:
Volunteer: We need people to work in the TIPS office
at the Presbyterian Center (room 108). If you have 2 to 4 hours a week
to volunteer, or know someone who does, please contact
us.
Make a Donation: We need donations of time, money,
