Small Church Network
If you are part of a congregation that typically worships with less than 100 people, get involved with the Small Church Network, an informal network of smaller congregations.
An annual Presbytery teaching and fellowship event is held each year to challenge and support vital ministry in small membership congregations.
Small Church Pastors' Retreat is held each year at Mo-Ranch.
Oct. 12-15, 2009 - "Blueprints for a Vital Church" - Rev. Trey Little, keynote speaker
The Small Church Pastors’ Retreat is an annual collaborative effort between Mo-Ranch, Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and the Synod of the Sun. We are delighted to be working together to provide a quality affordable event in a restful place where pastors who serve small congregations might reflect on their ministry and receive inspiration and renewal through study, fellowship, worship, rest and relaxation. Financial support from all three sponsors has made this dream a reality!
This event has been designed for all pastors serving churches whose regular worship attendance is fewer than 150 persons. Commissioned lay pastors, stated supply pastors, interim pastors, and full or part-time ministers are all welcome.
Wee Kirk Conference is held each year at Montreat, NC.
Wee Kirk is for pastors and lay leaders of PC(USA) churches of 125 members or fewer and offers opportunities for spiritual renewal, growth, and education in areas of pastoral care, ministry skills, evangelism, world mission, and finances. A specialized track for those serving their first pastorate is also available.
