Outreach Mission

Outreach Ministries supports local and global mission efforts of presbytery-approved ministries. The committee administers our benevolent giving and works to establish firm covenantal agreements with all supported organizations.

CEDEPCA: An Agent for Change
The delegation of 12 from Presbytery of New Covenant returned from Costa Rica after sharing in God’s work there. The group witnessed the profound results of our support for CEDEPCA’s ministry - lives transformed and church leaders empowered. They also discovered the alive connections between the Latin American Biblical University (UBL), our PC(USA) church and missionaries, and CEDEPCA. Read through statements from the participants:

The partnership between New Covenant Presbytery and CEPDEPCA was renewed by the presbytery in November 2008 for the period 2009-2011.

New international partnership approved

Also approved by the presbytery is a new Covenant Agreement for International Partnership (2009-2011) between the Presbytery of Juan Calvino in Lima, Peru, and the Presbytery of New Covenant. Since 1998 First Presbyterian, Kingwood, has sent teams to work with churches in Juan Calvino Presbytery. This new partnership between the two presbyteries will further the mission of each partner through prayer and dialogue.
