Focus Conference
Held the first Saturday in October, this annual presbytery-wide event is for those who wish to deepen their journey of discipleship. It is a day to nurture your spirit, enliven your faith, and recommit to ministry. A keynote speaker establishes the theme and a variety of workshops provide opportunities for deeper learning. Bookstore and World Gift Market are also available.

Keynoter: Rev. Dan Kimball, author of They Like Jesus But Not the Church and Emergent Worship

The planning team is delighted with the faculty being assembled for the FOCUS conference on October 3 at Grace Presbyterian, Houston. Dan Kimball will be the keynote speaker, encouraging us to break out of our church bubbles and engage the broader world in which we live.

Workshop topics include all aspects of vital ministry including Bible study, theology, spirituality, teaching ministry, disaster preparedness, missional outreach, and developing intentionally multicultural faith communities. Plan to come and bring your friends.  Watch for brochures and publicity materials this summer.
