Presbyterian Youth

PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH CONNECTION COUNCIL (PYCC)

Presbyterian Youth Connection is a youth ministry organization, created by the 205th General Assembly, that seeks to connect young people to one another, the whole church, and the whole world through faith in Jesus Christ.

New Covenant Presbyterian Youth Connection Council (PYCC) is re-formed each year with adult and youth leadership from all over our presbytery. The Council meets at least once a month to plan retreats and events for the youth in our presbytery.

Throughout the year, PYCC strives to develop mission opportunities in which youth groups can participate. Whether it be a work day or a blanket drive, there is always a need for mission work.
PYCC hosts activities that provide time and space for youth to connect with other youth within our presbytery. We believe that this connection is an important part in growing in our faith, and we want youth to get connected and stay connected!
The Council is always looking for new ways to keep our presbytery's youth connected. Keep an eye on this page for new opportunites, or email an idea!

Opportunities for our youth:

Conclaves:
Conclaves are meetings or gatherings of people with common interests. Each year, the PYCC works very hard to provide four weekend retreats where youth and their advisors can come and grow in their faith with other youth from around our presbytery.

Youth Rallies:
Come one, come all! These once a year events, held each fall, gather senior high and middle school youth from all over the presbytery for an afternoon of fellowship, fun, and mission.

Special Events:
Every few years, our denomination sponsors events for youth from all over our coutnry and even the entire world. These events include: Presbyterian Youth Triennium (held every 3 years) and Connection (also held every 3 years).
