Presbytery Meetings

The Presbytery of New Covenant meets in stated meetings 4 times a year. A minister-member
of the presbytery or an elder from a local church, who is elected at a stated meeting, serves
for 1 year as Moderator of the presbytery. Occasionally there may also be called meetings
of the presbytery to deal with matters of urgency between scheduled stated meetings.

Materials for each meeting are posted on the presbytery’s website two weeks prior to each meeting.

When posted, commissioners are expected to print out the Presbytery Packet, study materials prior to the meeting, and bring materials to the meeting.

New Business (New Business is posted at least 3 days before meeting date. New business for a meeting must be submitted to the Office of the Stated Clerk no later than 4 days prior to the meeting, so that it can be posted on the website along with other meeting materials.)

Postlude - post-meeting publication emailed to commissioners to assist in reporting to sessions.

• Sat., Feb. 6 - St. Philip Presbyterian, Houston
• Sat., May 8 - Northwoods Presbyterian, Houston
• Sun., July 18 (3-5pm) - Pinecrest Presbyterian, Houston
• No meeting in August - in its place is Day of Service - Sat., Aug. 7 and Day of Celebration - Sun., Aug. 15
• Sat., Nov. 13 - St. John's Presbyterian, Houston
