REV. DIANE PREVARY – STATED CLERK

As Stated Dlerk, Diane provides oversight to the official communications of the presbytery, as well as to the recording of minutes of the Presbytery's meetings. With the support of valuable presbytery staff, the stated clerk keeps and preserves the records of membership and attendance and furnishes extracts from them when required by another governing body of the church.

Diane responds to questions concerning the Constitution of the PC(USA), the Bylaws and Manual of Operation of the presbytery, and parliamentary procedure.

Prior to her service in New Covenant, Diane served pastorates in Maryland and Virginia. Her middle governing body experience includes service in presbyteries in Virginia, Nebraska, and Kansas. Diane received her MDiv from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia (now Union-PSCE). Diane was elected Stated Clark of the Presbytery of New Covenant in 2005.

Diane is married to Jim Bushong. Their blended family consists of five adult children and five grandchildren.
