REV. MARY CURRIE – VOLUNTEER IN MISSION

Mary is a valued assistant to the Committee on Ministry and regularly “covers” the phone at the Center. She is also a familiar face in New Covenant, as she is Stated Supply Pastor at St. James Presbyterian Church in LaPorte. Mary also works with the Small Church Network. She has been minister member of New Covenant since 1989, with - what Mary calls - a two-year stint of missionary service in Missouri.

Mary is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She has worked with congregations in Texas and Missouri. Mary enjoys swimming, gardening, and working around the house. She has a teenage son and a golden retriever named Mover.
