Communications Committee
The committee’s focus is to ensure
that communication vehicles are in place that facilitate effective communication
with and among church professionals, leaders of our congregations, and
members of presbytery committees.
The committee is responsible for setting the editorial policies of the
Presbytery Center’s printed and online publications and the presbytery’s
web site.
New Covenant Connections is the presbytery’s newsletter that publishes
reports and articles about the mission and ministry of the presbytery
and its congregations. Currently published 9 times a year (with bimonthly
editions in the summer and winter), the printed Connections reaches 5,100
ministers, church professionals, elders, and committee members in the
presbytery, as well as countless others who read it on the presbytery
web site.
Postlude is produced and posted on the presbytery web site after each stated presbytery meeting. Articles, written by members of the Communications Committee, provide a sense of the day’s events as well as a business summary. It is emailed to all churches, ministers, and commissioners to the presbytery meeting.
